Marketing Director
Magna Import-Exports, Inc.
1700 16th Street, N.W., Suite 305
Washington, D.C. 20012
Dear Ms. Fitch-Lambert:
Thank you for your time today regarding the position of Marketing Associate in your European Accounts Group. Sharing stories about traffic jams in Paris certainly brought back memories of my days working for U.N.E.S.C.O. And while the language and cultural experience was invaluable, I think we both agree we don’t miss the parking headaches and weekly metro strikes!
I would like to express my continued interest in working with you and Magna Import-Exports. As discussed, I am particularly enthusiastic about the opportunity to work with French-speaking customers, in both existing and new accounts. I believe my language background and skills as well as my three years of recent marketing experience at Smith-Montand Enterprises make for an ideal fit.
As requested, I am including the list of references for you to contact regarding my application. I look forward to hearing from you soon regarding next steps in the process.
Sincerely,
Jean-Louis Doe
